My dear friend, Susan of Oodle Kadoodle Primitives, has posted this request and since I agree whole-heartedly, I am re-posting it.
I'm inviting all my Blogging friends to join me in returning to the traditional greeting of "MERRY CHRISTMAS" instead of the politically correct "Happy Holidays". If you agree with me, please re-post this message.....MERRY CHRISTMAS! We need Christ back into our lives.

Thanks so much for this post! I am right there with you! Family and friends no matter their faith always receive a "Christmas" card from us and never a "Holiday" card. Likewise I am more than happy to receive Hannakah and Kwaanza cards from them. I think that we should all celebrate our respective faiths rather than try to secularize them...
Blessings & Merry Christmas, Patti
I would Love to repost that Linda but I don't think I know how. I will try and call you tomorrow evening since there are a few things I want to ask you about. Christ is always in our Christmas and I hate it when people write Xmas..It is CHRISTMAS.. I think I can do a copy paste (or I will try) and post it on Facebook.
Welcome home dear friend
Linda, We all say Merry Christmas down here. I hate when folks abbreviate the word Christmas. I always write Merry Christmas on my cards and say it to everyone during the season.
Merry Christmas to you my dear friend.

I'm tired of all this politically correct "holiday" crap. I say "merry Christmas" now more than ever and won't even buy Christmas cards that say Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas!!
:) Stacy
Merry Christmas, God Bless You!
I ALWAYS say Merry Christmas! And if someone wishes me a happy holiday I return it with a Merry Christmas! :)
Jesus is the reason for the season. ♥

It's crazy how you can't go into the schools and wish others a Merry Christmas. A holiday can be so many things but Christmas is special. It is a time to celebrate Christ's birth. -Steph-
I've never been politically correct...I've wished people Merry Christmas since I was old enough to understand what Christmas was, I don't intend to change now. My Christmas cards are religious in nature...now all I have to do is get them addressed and mailed!
Hear, hear! Well said and I'm in total agreement!
I really dislike it in cards and so on when Christ is X-ed out as in Xmas.
Wishing you and yours a blessed Christmas!
Christine
Merry Christmas one and all... I totally agree. I find it sad that we live in a counrty founded on our belief in God yet God has been pushed to the bottom of the list not only at Christmas but every day of the year.. And we wonder why our country has fallen into such a state of sadness, ugliness, unhappiness, hate and tragedy..
Without belief and Faith in our God and the true Celebration in Jesus Birth..Christ Mass.. what is to become of us?
Happy Birthday Jesus... May we all celebrate the true meaning of your birth and have a Very Merry Christmas this year filled with the Joy of your coming in our hearts and our Homes!
Christmas Blessings

Linda, well said, I will repost later today!! OLm
That was wonderful, dear!! Hope you've had a wonderful week... James got some bad news on his back- gonna have to have surgery the 22nd... *sigh*... not been a very good December so far!

Saw this on Sue's blog (was good to see her post!). Guess I am a true apolitical type - "Happy Holidays" never really "offend" me as I had assumed they simply meant Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....but if were meant as removing Christ from the celebration, yeah, you'd have one hopping mad crow on your hands....Wishing you and yours a very merry and blessed CHRISTMAS!! ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
I love it & agree!! it was funny, all the decorations in China were MERRY CHRISTMAS. not Happy Holidays there! Of course, they only celebrate it to be "trendy" or fashionable, not because they believe in the birth of Christ - or believe that He is the Son of God!
***MERRY CHRISTMAS***
