Look at us, said the violets blooming at her feet, all last winter we slept in the seeming death but at the right time God awakened us, and here we are to comfort you. ~Edward Payson Rod
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love – time is eternity" ~ Henry van Dyke
"I believe in the timeless power of a smile and the simple, happy wonder of creating and sharing. I love the way it makes me feel all warm and good inside, like a joyful hug."

CONVERSATION HEARTS

Enlarge to see more clearly. These are my take on old-fashioned conversation hearts. So sweet and easy, until I went to turn them right-side out. A little tricky and not exactly like store-bought, but they will do.
I hope I can find homes for them......
Gratitude:**I am thankful for this springtime weather we are enjoying. 62' here in the heartland. hardly seems like January to me!**

68 here today and 72 yesterday... doesn't seem like January AT ALL. But that's okay, I sent everyone outside so I can have a nice, peaceful house, lol.

Have a great weekend, girl~

I love hearts and yours are beautiful, I once made heart Christmas ornaments...I know what you're talking about when you turn them inside out. I'm not sure whether to wish for springtime weather continuing for you or not Linda...water reserves are built up in the ground from winter snows! So I'll wish you and yours to be safe and warm!

Cute hearts Linda. Great job. Close to 70 here today. I am debating whether to go ahead and take down my snowmen. Don't seem fitting with this weather. Holly bought flip-flops at Old Navy today for 50 cents a pair. What's so sad, it's warm enough to wear them NOW.. Have a great weekend

Linda, those are so cute. How fun to have a bunch of those in a bowl. I love the candy one's too. Necco brand makes the only good kind. I could eat bags and bags of them. You have such good ideas. thanks for sharing. p.s.- I have been trying out some stitchery myself. I taught myself how to do the basic backstitch and French knot last night:) Slowly but surley. I was looking at some of the ones you sent me to see what you do but I had trouble witht the chain stitch. Slowly but surley.

Linda,
You're so funny. I think you have the heart sewing mastered no problem! They look adorable.
Yesterday I thought to myself "hey, I should open the windows" then I remembered that is was January not March! I just hope we don't get dumped on here in the midwest. Snow for Christmas and that's it is just fine with me!
