*sigh* Isn't that the truth? January has literally flown by, hasn't it? I hope time slows just a bit. There is so much I want to get done... *sigh*
Thursday, we did our grocery shopping and ran some errands. We don't leave home without having at least 3 errands to run. Friday, we surprised Sara and her kids with a visit. It was Mya's 7th birthday. Ruby had turned 4 the Sunday before. We brought balloons and they were a big hit. Mike and I had stopped at 3 Goodwill stores and 2 Salvation Army stores. We found very, very little. The one Goodwill store was so filthy, I didn't want to touch anything let alone buy anything! I am just so ready for spring. We ordered our seeds and plants. I am anxious for garage sales and auctions. I told Mike I would even get up early to go to garage sales! He was shocked and amazed. I am a night owl and I love to sleep in, but I am also jonesing to get some bargains! Mon., Tue., Wed., Sat., Sun., we stayed home. I am ready for better weather--flowers, butterflies, fresh-mown grass......
We loaded our cart with fresh veggies, a couple marinated chicken breasts and a beautiful chuck roast that will provide us with 4 meals. Pretty sad when the highlight of your week is going to the grocery store!
MONDAY~ ham & beans, cornbread
TUESDAY~ pulled pork, kidney bean salad, cole slaw
WEDNESDAY~ chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, green beans
THURSDAY~ meatloaf, baked potato, corn
FRIDAY~ tilapia Parmesan, green salad, crescents

Another long boring week ahead. Going to Mom and Dad's on Saturday, weather permitting.
I don't understand how time can go by so fast when each day just drags......
